This is a pretty shoe that is comfortable from the first time you put it on. The leather is so soft and supple that nothing rubs or has to be "broken in". I have some arthritis in my feet and these shoes are forgiving and gentle to the affected joints. The strap is soft but still keeps the shoe on. This is my third pair of Arcopedicos and I find the quality, fit and comfort to be consistent.
