This is a beautiful boot that looks fantastic with my pirate garb. The toe has a beautiful alomond shape that is very feminine and flattering. It is not too rounded, and not pointy. The heel is just high enough to look nice but is thick and sturdy and comfortable to stand in for long periods of time. I wear these to long outside events with no problems. The laces up the back of the leg help to make them suitable for larger thigh sizes and the lace-up detail looks beautiful. The inside of the cuff is leather-lined so the cuff can be worn down as well and it looks killer with the pointed cuff. The leather is pretty and has a slight texture to it making it look a little less modern, which is great for costuming. I love these and use them often. My only complaint is that the calves are a bit narrow, so I cannot pull them up quite as high as I would like. They come up above my knee instead of all the way up my thigh, but they still look amazing and come up higher than any other thigh-high boots I have ever found. The foot is true to size. I love that there is no zipper on these, It really helps them look more period.
